The National Center for Policy Analysis Economic Policy Forum & Author Series hosted a lecture by Philip K. Howard, Founder and Chair of the advocacy group Common Good, at the Belo Mansion in Dallas.  Mr. Howard discussed his new book Life Without Lawyers: Restoring Responsibility in America which describes how the current state of the American judicial system prevents ordinary citizens from exercising common sense and the steps necessary to fix the problem.  Dr. John Goodman, President of NCPA, discussed the positive economic implications of life without lawyers.  Dr. Peter Raad, Executive Director of The Guildhall at SMU, discussed his work with The Guildhall with Mr. Howard.
